Glass is usually packaged in standard wooden crates and end-covered wooden crates, with every second piece of glass inside, interleaved with moisture-proof paper. Wooden crates with fumigation are available on request. Rider Glass has a trained packaging team experienced in loading and reinforcing containerized glass. Packaging prevents possible breakage on long distance or ocean transportation roads.
Before Loading
Paper Wrapping: An extra layer to prevent unforeseen surface scratches.
Powder Isolation: A thin coat to stop glass panels from sticking together.
Cork Cushioning: Soft padding between glass pieces to reduce impact damage.
Corner Protection: Guards added to edges to prevent chipping during transit.
Jumbo Size Loading
Jumbo-sized glass requires expert care and skill to handle. In the picture, you can see how we position these grand pieces inside an opentop container, securing them firmly to ensure safe transportation.
Same-Size Glass Loading
Loading glasses of the same size is a classic process, with each piece fixed by steel bars and standing in a way that minimizes the risk of damage.
For inland transportation in some countries, we provide more robust reinforcement methods and have gained the favor of many customers.
OT Container Loading
